Somewhere right now, a company you've never heard of has your home address, your phone number, your income bracket, and a list of your relatives, all packaged into a profile it sells to marketers, background check services, and sometimes scammers. Until recently, getting removed from even one of these companies meant filling out a separate form for each one. That just changed.

[You cannot escape this reality](https://www.p1nptrk.com/9FFC47/C4974T/?sub2=gm&sub3=blog&sub4=27%5Fto&ref=genius-marketing.ghost.io)

My name is Porter Stansberry.

I'm the founder of one of the largest independent financial research firms in the world. Over the last 30 years we've helped hundreds of thousands of Americans navigate almost every major economic cycle.

We've been on the forefront of every big financial story – from the collapse of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac to the rise of Bitcoin, the COVID inflation surge, and the artificial intelligence revolution.

But today, I need to [expose a story](https://www.p1nptrk.com/9FFC47/C4974T/?sub2=gm&sub3=blog&sub4=27%5Fto&ref=genius-marketing.ghost.io) the likes of which we haven't seen in half a century.

In fact, the last – and only – time this happened was 1974\. A secret deal struck in a Saudi desert that quietly determined the financial fate of an entire generation of Americans.

It created extraordinary wealth for some, while casting millions more into relative poverty.

[Now, 52 years later, it's happening again.](https://www.p1nptrk.com/9FFC47/C4974T/?sub2=gm&sub3=blog&sub4=27%5Fto&ref=genius-marketing.ghost.io)

And as you'll see, the aftershock of this event could reset not just your personal wealth, but the entire foundation of the U.S. dollar.

How you save, how you invest, how you protect everything you've built… it's all being reshaped by what Fortune calls *"the biggest change to the world's relationship with the dollar"* in a generation.

Yet almost nobody is prepared for it.

So if you've been watching the chaos of the past year unfold, struggling to make sense of it all – you're about to get [the answers you've been searching for.](https://www.p1nptrk.com/9FFC47/C4974T/?sub2=gm&sub3=blog&sub4=27%5Fto&ref=genius-marketing.ghost.io)

Everything from the government taking direct equity stakes in tiny mining companies… to Trump's obsession with Greenland… his strange deals with Elon Musk, Jeff Bezos, Sam Altman and Mark Zuckerberg… the re-opening of shuttered nuclear plants… and a $12 billion stockpile of obscure metals most Americans have never heard of…

It's all deeply and inexorably connected to an inescapable fact no-one has prepared you for:

[Trump is replacing the dollar.](https://www.p1nptrk.com/9FFC47/C4974T/?sub2=gm&sub3=blog&sub4=27%5Fto&ref=genius-marketing.ghost.io)

His shocking money reset has bypassed all conventional channels – enacted instead through a series of executive orders, bi-lateral deals and a landmark treaty signed by 13 nations in December 2025 (barely reported in the press) called [Pax Silica.](https://www.p1nptrk.com/9FFC47/C4974T/?sub2=gm&sub3=blog&sub4=27%5Fto&ref=genius-marketing.ghost.io)

You need to know that the financial decisions you make in the face of Trump's New Dollar could dictate whether you're enriched, or quietly impoverished by the seismic shift already underway.

The stocks to buy. The assets to avoid. And the critical moves our research indicates you should make to ensure you and your family end up on the right side of this once-in-a-generation wealth divide…

[It's all laid out here for you in my important new briefing.](https://www.p1nptrk.com/9FFC47/C4974T/?sub2=gm&sub3=blog&sub4=27%5Fto&ref=genius-marketing.ghost.io)

### Look Behind the Curtain

Data brokers are companies whose entire business is collecting personal information, from public records, purchase histories, app permissions, and other brokers, then packaging and selling it. There are hundreds of them operating in the United States, most of which the average person has never directly interacted with, which is exactly what made opting out so difficult. Each broker had its own removal process, often buried behind confusing forms or verification hurdles designed to discourage the request entirely.

California's Delete Act changed that structure directly. The state built a centralized system called the Data Broker Registry and Opt-out Portal, or DROP, which lets a resident submit one deletion request that applies across every broker registered in the state at once, rather than repeating the process company by company. Registered brokers are required to check the system regularly and process deletion requests within a set window. Other states, including Texas and Oregon, have added their own broker registration requirements, and the momentum behind this kind of centralized deletion right is spreading well beyond California's borders.

### The Capability Multiplier

Reducing your footprint across data brokers is one of the highest-leverage privacy actions available, because it cuts off the raw material several kinds of fraud depend on. Scammers researching a target for a convincing phishing email or a fake relative-in-distress call often start with exactly the kind of profile these brokers assemble: a home address, a family member's name, an employer, a phone number. Fewer available profiles means less material for that research to work with in the first place.

This is also a rare case where a single action has outsized, lasting effect rather than requiring ongoing vigilance. Most privacy habits, checking permissions, spotting phishing, are things you repeat continuously. A broker opt-out request, once submitted through a centralized system, keeps working on your behalf as brokers are legally required to keep checking and honoring it going forward. That's leverage: one action, applied once, protecting you on an ongoing basis without further effort.

Small business owners should treat this the same way for any employee or client data they've inadvertently exposed through public business registrations, since the same profiles that target individuals often get built from business ownership records too.

Registered brokers are also required to check the deletion system on a recurring schedule rather than just once, which means the protection doesn't quietly expire the way a one-time unsubscribe often does. That recurring compliance requirement is what makes this different from the patchwork opt-out process most people gave up on years ago.

### The Sovereign Action

This is one of the few privacy steps that takes real, permanent effect from a single session of effort.

\- If you're a California resident, submit a deletion request through the state's DROP system, which applies to every registered broker at once rather than one at a time.
\- If you live elsewhere, check whether your state has passed a similar deletion right, since Texas, Oregon, and a growing list of states have added broker registration and opt-out requirements.
\- For brokers outside any centralized system, use an updated manual opt-out guide to submit individual removal requests to the largest people-search sites.
\- Set a reminder to recheck in several months, since new data can resurface from public records even after a successful deletion.
\- Extend the same caution to what you post publicly going forward, since new posts and public records continuously feed fresh material back into these databases.
